Hmong Service

Daniel Thao, Pastor Robert Krueger The Hang Family
The Hmong service begins at 11:15 am. The Lord's Supper is celebrated weekly within the Divine Service.
Pastor Krueger and Pastor Raddatz officiate in English. A trained Hmong elder (church sense) does most of the liturgy in Hmong.
The Divine Service in Hmong is taken from the Lutheran Hmong hymnal produced by Concordia Publishing House. A much revised Lutheran Hmong hymnal awaits release! The order of worship remains the same each week, though elements of the order like prayers, readings and the sermon continue to change. The order of worship provides a nice consistancy that helps members, including children to learn the liturgy well. The main selction of music is hymns lead by the organ. The sound of the organ and singing is absolutely beautiful!
On different occassions, a member(s) will use their talents on musical instruments to accompany a song or play and sing a song. At different times, a member or group, like Sisters in Christ will sing a solo for the congregation. The beauty of such singing cannot be described!
