The kick-off celebration for Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church’s 125th Anniversary is Sunday, May 06th.  A special fellowship hour will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 am in the newly renovated Fellowship Hall.  The Joint Divine Service will follow at 10:00 am.
The members of Bethlehem would like to invite former members as well as the community to join in the celebration of God’s work in Dayton’s Bluff and beyond.
The members of Bethlehem are honored to have the Rev Dr. Robert Kuhn as guest preacher.  He serves the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) as the chair of the Board of Directors.  In addition, His People, a select choir from Concordia Academy (CA) will be special guests.
The service will no doubt be uplifting as several additional groups such as the senior choir, Sunday School, Christian Day School and Music In The City will participate.  In addition, there will be soloists.
There is a special brunch at the Holiday Inn, off of I-94 and McKnight South, following the service.  In addition to fellowship and eating, there is a program planned, which includes the showing of a DVD produced by one of Bethlehem’s member’s.
The service on Sunday, May 06th is only the beginning to a year set aside to give glory to God for the great things He has done at Bethlehem.  Soli Deo Gloria!
